A BIG Welcome to East Harlem

On July 10, I had the opportunity to visit a new senior care facility right here in East Harlem. Located at 4 E. 107th Street, Senior Health Partners is a newly built. brightly lit, gaily decorated, senior care facilty, fully staffed with friendly people dedicated to helping senior citizens

 While many in the community are focused on our youth, we can't forget the people who came before us. Services for seniors need to be an important part of our community and SHP seems to be a huge step in the right direction.  SHP opened in June, and is adding new features on an almost daily basis, SHP is prepared to offer to seniors not only medical services but also a place to socialize and participate in recreational activities. This is a place to look at if you or a loved one is a senior citizen that wants to continue to live at home and still receive necessary services.

Senior Health Partners or SHP is a new initiative sponsored in part by  The Mount Sinai Hospital of Mount Sinai NYU Health. I'm not going to go into details about their services as that is better left to their trained staff.
